Dominion shows that only in civil court can the “Goebbels Big Lie” be dealt with and there has to be proof that it caused harm to their company. The family of Officer Sicknick, who died from the J6 terrorist attack, doesn’t have the resources or the proof of harm to them to sue Tucker Carlson for his downplaying what happened that day. You mentioned in a previous post about the danger of shouting a false alarm that there was fire in a crowded theatre and Carlson is doing that with his rewriting history that could lead to more violence from those who still believe that that these terrorists were just tourists and wrongly incarcerated. Since nothing can be done to stop these lies at this point, the only solution is that not only has Dominion have to win its court case but companies have to stop advertising on Fox and drive them into financial ruin.
I agree with most of your points but psychological damage DOES carry a monetary value and Sicknick’s family has psychological damage every time Carlson opens his mouth. A contingency case COULD prove interesting. Especially if punitive damages were to be assessed by a jury. The Dominion case is similar in that the actual damages of $1.6B being asked for are chump change to Murdoch. It’s only if substantial punitive damages are assessed that he feels real pain.
Tucker is ill.
🤣🤣🤣
Aggggggh!!!!
