Bully Boy Donald

Donald John loves bullying young female reporters who ask him tough questions. Especially if they are “of color”. Almost as much as he loves bragging about his fershlugginer ballroom. The trouble is that with 0 understanding of their history, psychology, or motivation, he tried to use the same tactics on the Iranian regime with no consideration for the impact on the Iranian People. Or for anyone else for that matter.
It’s the same technique he used to use when he was in the “Real Estate Biz”. It worked for him there. I have a neighbor who used to be in the construction steel business. When he dealt with Donald’s father, he had no problem. Suddenly, when Donald took over the business, the quality of the steel was never good enough and it was either accept 40 cents on the dollar or face a long, drawn out legal battle with no guarantee of being paid at all. Eventually he stopped doing business with Trump and life became better.
The problem of course is that he (Donald) is trying to run the country in the same way he ran his business where his was the only opinion that mattered and he could do whatever he wanted to do behind the protective shield of his lawyers.
Thus we have the phenomenon of Marco Rubio going to Rome to smooth things over with the Pope and with the prime minister of Italy after Donald has treated them the way he used to treat Rosie O’Donnell when he was the “star” of “The Apprentice”. And he sees nothing wrong with sending his real estate developer son-in-law who’s in the hip pocket of Saudi dictator, Crown Prince MBS to negotiate with the Iranians.
Bottom line? The world — our allies and our adversaries — are learning what the New York construction community learned long ago. TACO Trump and, by extension, the USA under Trump, cannot be trusted to do what he/they say. After decades of being the moral leader of the free world, we have lost that reputation in less than a year and a half. It will take a decade to get it back. Time to start the process. Step one is to take the Congress back from Trump’s Toadies. Which means it’s up to “We the People”.
