On day in which Los Angeles remains under siege by the United States Federal Government and in which I’m feeling in desperate need of a night off, a brief personal note. From September 1997 until April of 2003, we sojourned in the San Francisco Bay Area while I finished my career in high tech marketing, sales, and business development. Following are some images made during that sojourn I think you’ll enjoy.
The famous Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco’s legendary fog.
San Francisco in the fog from Sausalito.
Seal Rocks at San Francisco’s Ocean Beach
A brown pelican. And my son. On the pier at Santa Cruz
The Fish Hopper restaurant in Monterey. Sand dabs while watching sea otters frolicking in the surf.
Pacific sea nettle jellyfish in the Monterey aquarium across from the Fish Hopper.
The Lone Cypress on 17 Mile Drive in Carmel
The commercial marina at Pillar Point north of Half Moon Bay. Fresh Dungeness Crab right from the boat.
And before we left, an orchid show on the pier in San Francisco.
